Application exports
When you import a package, you can install the application as a new application or as
an update to an existing application. To move an application between farms or tenants, you can
export custom applications.
Exported applications can be versioned. If a package has a version and is used to update an existing application, then the existing application must have a lower version.
You can exclude application capabilities from an export. By removing, for example, the Application Studio capability, you delete the Application Studio model from the application.
