Configuring the reference factor

You can configure a reference factor and apply it to multiple assignment configurations.

The Reference factor icon on the assignment report indicates which factor values were calculated using the reference factor.

Click the Home icon.
Select Applications > Sub Plan > Workforce Planning > Configuration > Assignment Report.
Select the dimension level.
If you select a level for which a reference factor is already configured, the configuration can be changed and applied again.
Click Reference factor.

Select one of these options:

Option	Description
Use reference data to calculate factor	Select this option to use reference data to calculate the factor values. Select the configuration set, version, and period to be used.
Enter factor value manually	Select this option to specify the factor value manually.

Select one of these options:

Option	Description
Apply to missing factor value only	Applies the reference factor settings to children elements that do not contain a manually specified factor value.
Apply to all	Applies the reference factor settings to all children under the reference factor configuration. If the assignment configuration included a factor value, that factor value is overwritten by the factor value that is calculated by the reference factor.
