Workforce Budgeting roles

This section describes application roles that are specific to Workforce Budgeting.

The predefined application roles are functionality-driven. Global permissions and OLAP permissions are defined. Use the #TABACC cube to control cube access. Use the #BPDNAV cube to manage permissions for navigation items.
Note: Adding new application roles is not supported, but you can create new OLAP data roles. To maintain Workforce Budgeting business objects and adjust budget data, you must have the WB Modeler or WB Planner role assigned. For applications that are based on Designer, you must have the WFBAdministration or WFBMPlanner role assigned. You can use custom OLAP data roles for multidimensional access control, but you must ensure that your users have the correct predefined application roles.
You must complete global configuration before you start budgeting your workforce costs. Different configuration options are available for users with Business Modeling Administrator and Global Configuration Modeler applications roles. Users and groups can be assigned to one or more application roles through d/EPM Administration.
Note: Built-in roles, such as AdministratorRole, DesignerRole, MasterRole, ViewRole, can be used in custom applications, but do not assign them to Infor d/EPM business applications.
