Creating load query and script parameters

In the Staging database, you can use parameters in load queries and scripts. In the Integration database, you can use parameters in load queries.

  1. Select Dashboards > Data Integrations > Relational Modeling.
  2. Select Staging or dEPM Integration, as you require, from the Target Connection list.
  3. Click the Load Queries icon on the tile of the table from which to load data.

    Use the Show Grid and Show Tile options on the toolbar to switch between tile and grid views.

  4. Select the application in which to create the query and click +Add. Or select an existing query to edit.
  5. On the Load Queries tab, click the Edit icon of the Parameters pane.
  6. In the Edit Parameters dialog box, click +Add and specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a name for the parameter.
    Data Type
    Select the parameter's data type. Text is the default. Other options are: Number, Boolean, Date/Time.
    Description
    Optionally, specify a description of the parameter.
  7. Click Apply.
