Clearing system logs manually

Clearing a log filter deletes the content of the BIFarmLog database. You can manually delete all log entries, or the entries for a selected number of days.

  1. Select Dashboards > Logs > Manage System Logs or Dashboards > Logs > Manage Application Logs as appropriate.
  2. Click Clear All Logs.
  3. Select one of these options and click Delete:
    Option Description
    Select Delete all entries Deletes all entries.
    Select Delete entries older than and specify a number of days Deletes all entries older the number of days that you specify, up to a maximum of 30 days.
