Creating WebView parameters

WebView parameters replace part of the URL with ${parameter_name}. You can create parameters from a URL, or you can paste in a URL which already contains parameters in the required format. If you paste in a URL containing parameters, the parameters are automatically detected when you click Parameters.

Each parameter is listed in the URL Parameters dialog box. Specify a default value for each parameter.

To create a parameter:

  1. Click the Edit icon on the application toolbar.
  2. Select the WebView widget.
  3. Click the Widget properties icon on the widget's toolbar.
  4. On the General tab, click URL Parameters.
  5. Select the part of the URL to use.
  6. Click Create the Parameter.
  7. Optionally, rename the parameter.
    You can rename a parameter or change its value. Select the parameter name or its value and click the Clear icon. Specify a new name or value.
  8. To reuse a parameter in another part of the URL, select the text to replace and click the Link icon.
  9. Click Done.
