Editing report jumps

An Application Studio report can contain jumps to other reports. A report jump is an action in a source report that opens a target report. For example, a summary report have a jump to a detailed report.

If a widget displays a report that contains a jump, you can specify the behavior of the target report. The target report can be displayed full-screen as a new dashboard or can replace the current content of the widget. By default, the target report is displayed full-screen.

  1. Click Edit on the application toolbar.
  2. Select the widget that contains the source report.
  3. Click the Widget properties icon on the widget's toolbar.
  4. On the General tab, in the Jump Target field, select one of these options:
    Option Description
    Open in this widget The current content of the widget is replaced.
    Replace dashboard The target report is displayed full-screen.
  5. Click Done.
