Managing calculation rules

Financial Consolidation includes standard calculations, grouped into categories. Each calculation within a category matches a rule group in d/EPM Administration. If you want to use a custom rule in place of a standard calculation, you can disable the calculation and create a new cube rule in the Edit Database dashboard in d/EPM Administration.
Caution:
This feature is intended for advanced users only. Disabling calculations can result in inconsistencies in the model.
  1. Select Modules > Consolidation > Core.
  2. In the Module Features pane, click Configure.
  3. In the Configure Consolidation wizard, click Calculations (Advanced).
  4. Expand the category that contains the calculation to disable.
For reference, the category names include the names of the cubes in the DEPMAPPS database to which the calculations apply.
  5. Clear the check box of the calculation to disable.
  6. Save your changes.
After you publish the model, the rule group matching the disabled calculation is disabled on the Rules tab of the Edit Database dashboard.
