Editing the configuration widget of a Decision Package workbook

After you have created a new Decision Package workbook, you can then edit the configuration widget. It contains all the information that the user will see when editing the completed workbook.

The configuration widget is the left panel of the configuration page of the workbook. It contains these sections:

  • Workflow: Shows the status of the workbook.
  • Decision Package Parameters: Shows the Name and ID of the Decision Package to which the workbook belongs.
  • Strategy: Shows the Goal, Strategy, and Tactic used in Strategy Management.
    Note: The Strategy section is only available for applications that are based on Designer.
  • Selected Account: Shows the account to which the workbook belongs.
  • Standard Dimensions: Shows the standard dimensions of the workbook.
  • Analysis Dimensions: Shows the dimensions of the workbook used for analytical reports.

The section titles are set as default, but you can change the titles to suit your requirements.

  1. Navigate to the section that you want to change, then click the Wrench icon to open the Change Section Title dialog box.
  2. Specify a new name for the section and click OK.
