Specifying logic blocks

A workflow step might require a single condition such as Salary > 50,000. Or it might require several groups of conditions to be evaluated in sequence. Each group of conditions is a logic block.

  1. Click the Home icon.
  2. Select Business Configuration > Configuration Set-specific Settings > Workflow Configuration.
  3. In Context, click the version to which the step applies.
The version and its parent configuration set are highlighted. The Workflow Tasks Overview section lists the applications for which planning steps are available, grouped by entity. The number of steps of each type of workflow is displayed, with icons that indicate the status of the steps.
  4. In the Configure column, click the arrow icon of the application to which the planning step belongs.
  5. In the Configure column, click the icon of the step for which to configure conditions.
The Workflow Logic Builder page displays a logic block and list of conditions.
  6. Drag a condition from the list of conditions and drop it on the logic block.
  7. Add additional conditions as necessary and select the logical operator for evaluation of the conditions.
  8. If required, click Add New Block to create further logic blocks. Select the logical operator for comparison of the logic blocks.
  9. Click the Save icon.
