Ad-Hoc tab

Use the Ad-Hoc tab for detailed analysis and planning on a predefined slice of data. The data slice is defined by your administrator. If the data slice has been defined with accounts and analysis dimensions in rows, selecting a line in the grid updates the Selected Account section of the left pane to display the selected account and the analysis dimensions. These selections are maintained when selecting other report-driven tabs. For example, the Line Details, Custom Details, and Schedules tabs. The selection is reset by opening the Data Entry tab.

Optionally, click Show Line to add a line where you select the combination of base elements where you want to specify data. This option is useful if you are using the zero suppression options and want to add data to a row that is currently hidden. Click Hide Line to hide it again.

You cannot drag and drop dimensions or drill down on this tab.
