Resetting a workflow

You can select a final approved planning workflow in the Workflow Configuration page and reset it to the final approver or to all affected planners.

  1. Click the Home icon.
  2. Select Business Configuration > Configuration Set-specific Settings > Workflow Configuration.
  3. In Context pane, select the version to which the step applies.
  4. In the Configure column, click the arrow icon of the application to which the planning step belongs.
  5. In the Workflow Configuration page select Reset Workflow.
  6. In the Reset Workflow dialog box select one of the two options:
    Reset to final approver
    The workflow status changes from Approved to In Progress. If there is no approver, then the option for reset to final approver is inactive.
    Reset to planner
    The workflow status changes from Approved to Open. If there are multiple final approvers or planners, then tasks are published back to all of them.
    Note: When you select the Reset to planner option, all entered values, comments, cell notes, and attachments within the selected context are deleted.
  7. Click Reset.
