Availability tab

All list objects except hyperblocks have an Availability tab. Command buttons and web extensions also have an Availability tab. By default, objects are visible. Clear the Visible check box to make an object invisible in all these outputs:

  • Print
  • PDF
  • PowerPoint
  • Image export
  • Print Preview
  • View mode
  • Debug mode
  • Web

To use a formula to control the visibility of an object, select the Formula check box and click the browse button to open the Edit Formula dialog box. With a formula, you could, for example, store the configuration of multiple objects in one variable and use GETPROPERTY to read properties from the variable.

Select the Print object check box to ensure that reports printed from Design mode display the object.
