Creating SLICEGET formulas in the Edit OLAP Formula wizard

  1. In Design Mode, click the cell in which to create the formula and then click Edit OLAP Formula on the Objects tool bar.
  2. Select Slice values as the formula type.
  3. In the Slice list, select the slice from which to return values. Or select Edit Formula and specify the slice.
  4. In the Row tuple list, select Edit Formula and specify the row tuple.
    For example, expand Hyperblocks in the Edit Formula dialog and select the appropriate hyperblock.
  5. In the Column tuple list, select Edit Formula and specify the column tuple.
  6. In the Cell property list, select the Value property, or select Edit Formula and specify the value.
  7. Optionally, to make the formula writable, select Allow writeback.
  8. Click OK.
