Creating and editing repository roles

You can use predefined repository roles available in d/EPM Administration. You can also use the Repository Roles widget in the Administrators dashboard to create new roles.

  1. Select Dashboards > User and Permission Management > Administrators dashboard.
  2. In the Repository Roles widget, click the Create icon.
  3. Specify the name of the repository role and, optionally, a description.
  4. Select the repository role to assign.
  5. Perform one of these tasks:
    Task Description
    Click the Edit icon in the User and Groups widget Select the check boxes of the users and groups to which to assign the selected repository role.
    Click the Edit icon in the Basic Groups widget Select the check boxes of the basic groups to which to assign the selected repository role.
    Click the Edit icon in the Repository Permissions widget The Edit icon is disabled for built-in repository roles.

    Select the repository permissions to assign to the repository role.

  6. Click Save.
