Configuring the Performance Overview report

You can configure Performance Overview calculations through the Performance Overview - Administration page. The KPI calculations in the Performance Overview report are based on a comparison between estimated and actual times. That is, between the time that was estimated for the production of goods and services and the actual time that was spent on production.

The information on actual spent time is received from time tracking systems and uploaded into Workforce Planning.

The estimated time is represented by selected drivers. Use the Performance Overview - Administration page to select an account that corresponds to the estimated time effort. For each account that you select, add drivers that contribute to the calculations of the total estimated time.

For example, in the demo data, the account is Scheduled Hours. You can select one or multiple drivers that contribute to the estimated time effort.

Click the Home icon.
Select Applications > Sub Plan > Workforce Planning > Reporting > Performance Overview - Administration.
Select the configuration set.
Select the account.
Click Add Driver.
Select the driver category, driver name, and version and click Save.
The version selection defines from which version the driver values are used for the calculations for the selected configuration set.
Add as many drivers as are required. Multiple driver selection is required, for example, when every organization has its own driver with calculated time effort that is required to fulfill the demand. In such cases, all corresponding drivers must be selected and the comparison between the required and actual time effort can be provided for every organization.
Click Save.
You must save the report every time driver values for the selected configuration are updated or calculation formulas for the selected drivers are changed.
Each time you save the changes, the calculations of the estimated time for production of goods and services are updated.
