Comparing results between versions
- Click the Home icon.
- Select Applications > Sub Plan > Workforce Planning > Reporting > Version Comparison Report.
- Select the configuration set, version, and frequency.

Select one or more calculation methods.
Only methods with the selected planning frequency are available.

Select the account.
Option Description Calculation results after allocation Displays the calculation results after assignment configuration and after their automatic allocation. If there is an assignment configuration on a higher level, an automatic allocation is performed across the dimensions of the calculation method. Calculation results Displays the calculation results that are based on the assignment configuration only and without the automatic allocation. -
Select the elements of the dimensions to specify the granularity of
your data.
You can add up to three different dimensions.If the Organization dimension is selected, changes to its structure are reflected in the displayed hierarchy. If you select the current period in the Period section, the latest Organization hierarchy is displayed. If you select a past period, the Organization hierarchy that was valid on the last day of the selected period is displayed.

Select up to two additional versions to compare.
You can use the Version comparison report to compare the maximum of three versions.
- Select the period to be used for comparison and the range of periods to display.

Click Load.
After loading the report, you can collapse the context pane.

To change the display settings for multiple calculation methods, click
Settings, select one of the
options, and click Save.
Option Description Show only aggregated results The selected calculation methods are aggregated into one column for each period and version. This is the default display option.
Show results for each selected method The detailed results are displayed for every selected calculation method for each period and version. Select this option if you selected more than one calculation method in the context selection, and these calculation methods are used to plan the same labor groups. For example, if you select benchmark and bottom-up calculation methods that are available in the demo data. With these calculation methods, you can apply different methodologies to plan workforce for the same labor groups.

Optionally, select a row and click Transpose to display values of the selected row for all
selected periods.
The data for the selected row is displayed. The selected periods form the rows. The versions are represented by columns. If you selected multiple calculation methods, you can expand each period to show values for selected calculation methods.
- Click OK.

To narrow your results, click Filter > Open filters, select an employee attribute, specify the value, and click Apply.
You can add multiple filters and save your selected attributes as a preset to be used in the version comparison report.Note: These presets are independent of the selected calculation method and are applied on data from the version that holds the actuals.
