OLAP
Performance enhancements
The performance of OLAP tasks that require a relational
connection has been enhanced. OLAP hierarchy mappings, fact
mappings, and exporting OLAP data to relational tables using the
OLAPExportDataArea and OLAPExportHierarchy
Application Engine functions are now faster.
Duplicate mapping definitions
The new option on the Mapping Definition page allows the reuse of existing mapping definitions.
Views support in OLAP models
You can use views in OLAP models, that are defined, in Staging, in these places:
- Elements table for hierarchies
- Relations table for hierarchies
- Facts table for cubes, MDAC cubes, and TABACC cubes
