OLAP
Edit Database and Mappings Overview dashboards
These improvements have been made:
- Filtering elements of a hierarchy
The Elements tab of a hierarchy has been extended with the option to filter for elements by their names or attributes. Matching elements are displayed in parent-child relationships with all their predecessors.
- Searching dimensions
The assignment of dimensions when creating a new cube has been improved by adding a
option. - Rules Editor
These improvements have been made for inserting objects from the object browser:
- Objects are inserted into the target or formula field depending on the cursor position.
- Objects with spaces in their names are inserted with apostrophes. For example, 'Forecast 1'.
- Subset names are inserted with the required curly braces:
{{<subset name>}}
.
- Mappings
Mappings that are no longer needed can now be deleted directly from the Mappings Overview dashboard by selecting a mapping and clicking
on the toolbar.
Idle OLAP databases
An idle OLAP database, to which no user is connected, is automatically stopped and put in a standby state to save system resources. The database automatically resumes when the next user or process connects. The idle time is configurable using the OLAP Services Settings dialog box in the Services dashboard.
