Global access permissions
Global access permissions determine which data modeling tasks can be
performed.
These global access permissions exist:
- View OLAP: Connecting to the OLAP database is not possible without this permission.
- Edit OLAP: Reserved for future use.
- Import/Export Values: This permission is also required for writing data with Application Engine processes.
- Edit Dimensions
- Edit Rules
- Write Values
- Administer OLAP database: Combines all other global access permissions except View OLAP. OLAP performs no permission checks for users with this permission.
