For example, you can set an existing dimension's properties. This is job type 5. But if a dimension is being created, setting its properties is done automatically during the dimension load process. The properties are read from the dimension's metadata in the _Dimensions table and loaded into the dimension in the OLAP database after it is created. There are other peripheral processes that loading a dimension invokes. These are listed in the "Process Dependencies" section.
