Saving dashboard copies

To copy the currently open dashboard, you can use Save As and Save a Copy options. These options enable you save your work as a dashboard with a different name. It might be useful to save, for example, different stages and keep multiple versions of your dashboard.

  1. Open the dashboard to copy.
  2. Click the Actions menu on the dashboard or click the File tab on the Mac menu bar.
  3. Select Save As or Save a Copy.
    Option Description
    Save As Opens a new copy of the dashboard and closes the original dashboard.
    Save a Copy Copies a dashboard but keeps the original dashboard open.
  4. In the location section of the Save Dashboard dialog box, browse to the target folder in which to save the copy. Click Choose.
  5. Specify a dashboard name and, optionally, a description.
  6. Click Save.
