Creating the standard staging database
You can create and configure your own database structures using any
relational modeling tool.
Then your relational data can be used in the OLAP modeling to fill the OLAP structures.
You can use the standard staging database for extensions to Infor d/EPM Business Applications standard integration
and for custom staging.
Note: Installation of
the standard staging database is required for installation of Infor d/EPM business applications. You can decide
to use a different database as the staging database in Farm Expert later.
The default staging database name is dEPMStaging and it is delivered with four tables that are created for logging. The tables are created when you update or first install the staging database. You can also use an existing database as the staging database.
Logged data is stored in these tables:
- Log Main: DEPM_FWK_LOG_ENTRY
- Log Events: DEPM_FWK_LOG_EVENT
- Log Event Properties: DEPM_FWK_LOG_EVENT_PROP
- Log Filters: DEPM_FWK_LOG_FILTER
The logged data can be interrogated only through scripts in the Relational Modeling dashboard in d/EPM Administration.
