Installing Business Modeling-based Infor d/EPM business applications

This step applies only if you want to install Business Modeling-based Infor d/EPM business applications.

Infor d/EPM business applications can be based on Business Modeling or on Designer.

Note: The installation of Business Modeling-based Infor d/EPM business applications might be time-consuming.

We recommend that you install Self-Service before you install the Business Modeling-based Infor d/EPM business applications.

In the d/EPM Business Applications step, create or configure the Business Modeling database. The default name is BIFarmModel.

  1. Click the Database button.
  2. Specify all the necessary information on the Connection, Schema, and Options tabs.
  3. Optionally, click Validate.
  4. Optionally, select Workforce Budgeting or Consolidation to enable the modules.
    Note: If you select the Consolidation module, create or configure the Consolidation journal database. The default name is BIFarmConsolidation.
  5. Select the Install d/EPM Business Applications using Business Modeling check-box.
  6. Click Next.
