Configuring data connections for cubes

You configure the transfer of business data from the reference database to the OLAP database using data connections for cubes.

A data connection for cubes is part of the cube. If a cube contains dimensions with mappings of source tables whose data you import into the OLAP database, you must create a data connection for cubes. Select a business group as the data source to specify which data are transferred to the OLAP cube.
