Assigning multilingual captions

You can assign captions to dimensions, cubes, navigation objects, and menus in each of the available languages. You can also edit the translated names of the available languages, for example, change English to English (USA).

To provide a translation of a caption:

  1. Select System > Multilingual Maintenance.
  2. Select the appropriate tab: Dimensions, Cubes, Navigation Objects, Menus, or Languages.
  3. In the ID column, select the caption for which you provide a translation.
  4. Specify the translated text in the appropriate language column and press Enter.
