Managing currencies

The Currencies page lists currencies that are active. You can add, import, and upload currencies. If Financial Consolidation is active, you can specify whether a currency is an entity currency or a group and entity currency. Every group currency must also be an entity currency. Therefore, you cannot clear the Entity check box for a group currency.
  1. Select Business Objects > Organizational > Currencies.
  2. Click the Editor tab.
  3. Click + Add and select the check boxes of the currencies to add.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Select or clear the check boxes in the Entity and Group columns to specify whether a currency is an entity currency, or a group and entity currency.
    If you add, import, or upload entities or groups, the currencies used by those entities or groups are automatically added to the grid as entity currencies. You can specify that they are both entity and group currencies but not only group currencies.
  6. Click Save.
