Overview of Business Modeling
Business applications are delivered empty. When you first sign in, you are prompted to use Business Modeling to add your business-related structures. Business objects, such as accounts, are the building blocks that you use to manage those structures.
You can add to the model manually, by uploading from files, or by importing from the integration database. Population of the integration database, from the Infor Data Lake for example, is through relational modeling in d/EPM Administration.
When the model contains the minimum required structures for the application, you publish the model. You can then configure the business application, returning to Business Modeling as required, to add business object records and import data to the application.
