Requirements

You must have installed and configured Infor d/EPM.

Administrator level use of Designer is required.

Data integration for the Base Data Store uses stored procedures that operate within the Microsoft SQL Server database environment. When not using the Base Data Store user interface, the stored procedures can be executed from Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

Any integration effort requires a deep familiarity with both the source and target systems. You must have a good understanding of Infor d/EPM's features as well as the dimensions, elements, cubes, and dynamic attributes.

Some modification of the stored procedures may be required to configure them for the environment and for the desired options. A working knowledge of SQL and SQL scripting is required to use stored procedures or troubleshooting.

Designer must be installed on your local computer to complete the integration process.

A data source must be defined for the Base Data Store of the source system.

See the "d/EPM Administration" section for information on downloading and installing Designer and configuring data connections.
