Specifying machine settings
In the Machines Settings dialog box you specify how often the
			state of services is checked, and the action to take to recover from failures.
		- Select Dashboards > Farm Administration > Services.
 - Click the Settings icon in the Machines widget.
 - Select the account under which to monitor the status of services.
 - Specify this information:
- Check Interval
 - Specify the interval after which the service account checks the status of services.
 - Check Attempts
 - Specify the number of times the service account attempts to get the service status.
 - Recovery Interval
 - Specify how long a service is given to recover from a failure.
 - Recovery Attempts
 - Specify the number of times the service account attempts to restart the service.
 - Stop Service Time-out
 - Specify how long to wait after a stop command is sent for a service to stop.
 - Service Stop Behavior
 - Specify the action to take if a service does not stop after a stop command is sent. Select one of these options:
 
Option Description Stop and wait Attempt to stop the service. Stop and fail after time-out Send a stop command. If the service does not stop by the specified time-out, the stop command fails. Stop and kill after time-out Send a stop command. If the service does not stop by the specified time-out, the service is terminated. Kill right away The service is terminated, ignoring the specified time-out.
