Applying a global benefit

Benefits for which Global Benefit Definition is selected on the Global Cost tab can be applied to all employees within a specified configuration set, version, and entity.

  1. Click the Home icon.
  2. Select Applications > Sub Plan > Workforce Budgeting > Configuration > Supplemental Pay and Benefit Definition.
  3. From the Standard Dimensions list, select the context to which to apply the benefit.
  4. Click the configuration button of the benefit to apply. Or, create a pay or benefit definition.
  5. Click the Calculate tab and click Calculate.
    The benefit is applied to all employees and positions in the specified context.
    Caution: 
    If you do not click Calculate after you make a change to a global supplemental pay or benefit, then the calculation results will be wrong for that payment or benefit.
