Highest Step report

You can use the Highest Step Report to identify positions and position assignments that are at the highest grade and step of your salary table. You can also perform manual adjustments.

To access the Highest Step Report, select Home > Applications > Sub Plan > Workforce Budgeting > Reporting > Highest Step Report.

In Filter Selection, select the context of the report and the salary table and click Run.

The Highest Step Report shows all positions or position assignments at the highest step in the highest grade of the selected salary table. The report provides this information: employee, position, job, organization, grade, and step.

Pay increases that are based on the progression rules are not applied to positions or position assignments at the highest step. Many labor contracts provide pay raises for employees who have reached the highest step in the salary table. In these cases, pay raises must be made manually.
