Configuring a hierarchical review for multiple organizations
When you configure multiple organizations, you can select organizations that share the same due date. You can also select the responsible person or group and specify whether modification of data is enabled.
- Click the Home icon.
- Select Business Configuration > Configuration Set-specific Settings > Workflow Configuration.

In Configuration set Overview, click
the version to which the step applies.
The version and its parent configuration set are highlighted. The Details section lists the applications for which planning steps are available, grouped by entity. The number of steps of each type of workflow is displayed, with icons that indicate the status of the steps.
- In the Configure column, click the arrow icon of the application to which the planning step belongs.

In the Configure column of the Workflow
Configuration page, click the arrow icon of the step for which to
configure hierarchical review.
The Configure Hierarchical Approval dialog box opens.
- Click MULTIPLE CONFIGURATION.
- In the Organizations field, click Select and select the organizations to configure.

In the Due Date
field, click Select
and select the date by which the data for selected organizations should be
approved.
The due date is displayed on the Tasks page.

In the Responsible Type field, select User or Group.
By default, the User option is selected.
- In the Responsible field, click Select and select the user or group who are responsible for the review.

If you selected a group to be responsible, you can enable the Take Over
feature.
Caution:By default, this feature is disabled. Enabling the Take Over feature might result in data loss when multiple users edit the task at the same time.
- Optionally, select the Enable Modification check box to enable the approver to modify the data before approving or rejecting it.

Click OK.
The selections are applied to the Configure Hierarchical Approval dialog box.
