Adding the Workforce Budgeting OLAP roles

If you are upgrading from the 10.5.0 version of d/EPM, you must manually add the Workforce Budgeting OLAP roles to the d/EPM BI repository.

If you want to restrict Workforce Budgeting users to certain members in the secured dimension, each user must be assigned two roles. The appropriate Workforce Budgeting role and a role that sets member permissions. Member permissions for the WFBPlanner and WFBReadOnly roles must be set to None.

To add the Workforce Budgeting roles:

  1. Start Repository Administration.
  2. Expand the Infor BI Repository Administration tree to show the Financial Applications repository registration.
  3. Connect to Financial Applications.
  4. Expand the Financial Applications repository tree and go to OLAP Permissions Management - Financial Applications.
  5. In the right pane, click the Roles tab.
  6. Add the WFBAdministration role.
  7. Assign the WFBAdministration role these permissions: Administer OLAP Database, Administer Permissions, View.
  8. Add the WFBPlanner role.
  9. Assign the WFBPlanner role these permissions: Import/Export Values, View, Write Values.
  10. Add the WFBReadOnly role.
  11. Assign the WFBReadOnly role these permissions: View.
  12. Optionally, create a role that sets member permissions.
  13. If you created a separate role that sets member permissions, set the member permissions for the WFBPlanner and WFBReadOnly roles to None.
  14. Assign users to the roles as appropriate.
