Updating the OLAP Administration settings

Before you can use the Plan Creation page to create the Strategy Management database, you must update the Database and Communication Manager settings to reference the repository and project values you will use to create the database.

To update the settings:

  1. Start Infor BI OLAP Administration.
  2. Go to Computer Configuration > Local Computer > OLAP Server Communication Manager.
  3. Update the value for Repository registration. The default repository created during the installation is named Financial Applications.
  4. Update the value for Project name. The default project created during the installation is named Financial Applications.
  5. Restart the Infor BI OLAP Server service.
  6. Reset IIS.
  7. Close all browser windows.
