Roles

Three predefined OLAP roles are available:

• The WFBReadOnly role can access the reports.
• The WFBPlanner role can access the reports, specify position assignments, optionally add or modify actions, and calculate budgets.
• The WFBAdministration role can access all the Workforce Budgeting pages and reports.

The roles have these OLAP permissions:

• The WFBReadOnly role has View permission. Users assigned this role can view the data from both the relational tables and the Workforce Budgeting sub plan cube. The role is a member of the Approver CC1 group.
• The WFBPlanner role has View and Write Values permissions. Users assigned this role can write to the relational tables and the Workforce Budgeting sub plan cube. The role is a member of the Planner 1 group.
• The WFBAdministration role has View and Write Values permissions. The role is a member of the Planner 4 group.

If you want to restrict Workforce Budgeting users to certain members in the secured dimension, each user must be assigned two roles. The appropriate Workforce Budgeting role and a role that sets member permissions. Member permission for the WFBPlanner and WFBReadOnly roles must be set to None.
