Import

The Workforce Budgeting Import page is the starting point to add, edit, or run load groups or individual load definitions.

Field Description
Connect List of databases defined by the data source. The user must have the WFBAdministration role.

Load Groups

Workforce Budgeting import supports organizing loads into groups for specific purposes such as loading by planning cycle or version. Each load group can contain multiple load definitions for any of the supported load types. Overall load status information is recorded by load definition by load group.

This table describes the section fields:

Field Description
Add a load group. A load group is added and the name is highlighted. Specify a name for the load group by typing over the highlighted name.
Refresh the page to the last saved state. You are prompted if there are unsaved changes.
Delete the selected item. Deleting a load group deletes all the load definitions in the group.
Select the load group and expand the Load Definition section.
Import Group Name of the load group.
Description Description of the load group.
Status Displays the status of the load definition. The valid states are:
  • Successful load
  • Loaded ignoring errors
  • Failed
Created By User ID of the person who created the load definition.
Created On Date and time the load group was created.
Modified By User ID of the person who last made a change
Modified On Date and time of the last modification.

Load Definition

The Load Definition section is where you create load definitions, edit load definitions, and run load definitions. You can also check on the individual load status as well as errored records and loaded records.

This table describes the fields on the Loads tab:

Import Imports the selected load definitions.
Load Type Displays the load type.
Load Name of the load definition.
Source (table or file) Displays the name of the source file or table.
Ignore Errors Displays the Ignore Errors setting.
Last User To Run User ID of the person who last ran the load.
Last Run Date and time of the last load.

Use the Load Status tab to review the status for the last time a load was run.

Use the Details tab to review the audit trail for the last time a load was run. Select Error Report to review only the errors. Select Full Report to review the entire load file including any error information.
