Spread Methods

Spread methods are used to distribute an amount across budget periods.

A unique spread name is used to identify the spread method. A spread weight value is supplied for the leaf periods as needed. Leave leaf periods NULL (empty) to indicate that no amount is to be distributed to that period.

Spread Method import supports loading a single value across all period by leaving the Period_ID field empty.

These are the validation rules:

• Spread_Name must be unique.
• Spread_Name and Period identify a unique record.
