Allocations

Allocations define the assignment of workforce expenses across the allocation dimensions. An allocation definition contains a specific percentage for every leaf period in workforce budgeting.

For import, default allocation IDs must be supplied to serve as internal identifiers. These IDs are used in any subsequent loads that include an Allocation definition. An allocation definition can contain several records but the allocation must sum to 100% for every period.

Import supports the establishment of standard allocations where every period has the exactly the same allocation. Specifying NULL (blank) for the Period_ID establishes a standard, repeating allocation.

You can configure Workforce Budgeting to support allocations or distributions; it does not support both types of cost disbursement.
