Cubes
The cubes of the OLAP model contain financial and consolidated data, which is translated there, for example, for a currency translation. Imported or specified financial data is saved in the financial cube TFINANC. If accounts have a schedule, it is saved in the detail cube TDETAIC. Segment data is saved in the segment cube TSEGNC. You can specify or import data in these three cubes. You can also perform company journals for correction, revaluation and reclassification, or you can perform these journals on specifically defined consolidation stages.
Select the command in Financial Consolidation to transfer data into the consolidation cubes TFINANG, TDETAIG, and TSEGMG, where the data is consolidated. Manual or automatic group journals are saved here.
Furthermore, there are parameter cubes. These cubes contain information on companies, groups, ownership, methods of consolidation, and exchange rates. You administer these cubes in the work spaces . You must specify the parameters for each year, period, and scenario. Specify the remaining parameters in Designer.
