Configuration of consolidation processes

Some changes were required in the consolidation processes to support the multi-level consolidation. These changes are listed below, with advice on when you must consider them. As the consolidation processes are configurable and might have been adjusted in your setup, consider whether you must apply them to your processes or if you can adopt the ones contained in the standard delivered by Infor.

  1. A new process has been created to adopt the eliminations of the subgroups. If you create elimination journals that consider the eliminations of subgroups, this process should be used unless you have a custom process for this. If you use the standard process, add it in your consolidation process sequence before the transfer to companies rule and ensure that it runs each time once before the other consolidation rules are performed.
  2. If you use segment consolidation rules, consider that the multi-level consolidation must roll up the values on different segment levels. This was not required before and the former segment consolidation rules usually read only from the segment level Segment. The new segment consolidation rules must read from the top total element Consolidated Segments. If you do not know how to implement this requirement, contact Infor Support.
