Overview
The data model of Consolidation consists of these elements:
- The OLAP model contains financial data and information used for consolidation.
- The Designer database contains metadata for the definition and the configuration of the OLAP model.
- The Repository database contains the user administration, reports, and journals.
The financial data in Consolidation exist as cumulated year values of the periods. To use periodical data in reports, aggregated elements must be created in the period dimension to represent the difference between a period and its successor. For further information contact your project manager.
The Designer database contains the metadata and the contents of the OLAP model such as accounts, organizational structure, and configurations. This data is used to create the OLAP model. To create the OLAP model in Designer use the command.
The Repository Administration database of Consolidation contains the user administration, the journals, and the logging data.
