Overview

The data model of Consolidation consists of these elements:

The financial data in Consolidation exist as cumulated year values of the periods. To use periodical data in reports, aggregated elements must be created in the period dimension to represent the difference between a period and its successor. For further information contact your project manager.

The Designer database contains the metadata and the contents of the OLAP model such as accounts, organizational structure, and configurations. This data is used to create the OLAP model. To create the OLAP model in Designer use the File > Create Database command.

Note: If you do not create the OLAP model again in Designer after you have changed it, your changes will not be taken into account.

The Repository Administration database of Consolidation contains the user administration, the journals, and the logging data.

Caution: Only change, administer, and create the OLAP model in Designer. Changes that you specify in other programs are lost, when the database is created in Designer.
