Adding custom security roles

  1. Sign in Infor OS Portal.
  2. Click the User Menu icon.
  3. Select User Management.
  4. To configure Logical ID associations:
    1. On the landing page, open the hamburger menu and select Configure > Logical ID Associations.
    2. Click Add.
    3. Specify this information:
      Infor OS Portal LID
      Specify lid://infor.da-birst.dabirst.
      Connection Point LID
      You must use the Infor OS Portal LID as the Logical ID of the security role. Specify lid://infor.birst.birst:ims.
      Note: You can also search for OS Portal LID. Specify DAR in the search box.
    4. Click Add & Close.
    5. Click Save.
      Note: Alternatively, the Logical ID for any application can be found in the Administrator Settings section of OS Portal. The LID is found in the Deployment Information tab.
  5. To add custom security roles:
    1. Select Configure > Master Data Types > Security Roles.
    2. Click Add.
    3. Specify the name and description for the new security role.
    4. To link the security role to DAR, select the Applications tab.
    5. Click Add.
    6. Select DAR Analytics.
    7. Click Add & Close.
    8. Click Save.
