Infrastructure management: The Asset Management modules are used to create a catalog of different types of infrastructure assets, where an asset is defined as any distinct infrastructure component. For example, the Water module catalogs your water assets, such as mains, service lines, pumps, valves, hydrants, and lift stations.
The Work Management and Inventory modules provide additional support for asset management. Work Management handles asset maintenance, both scheduled and unplanned, while Inventory manages the parts and supplies in your inventory.
Infor Public Sector also includes advanced Asset Management tools that include planning, budgeting, asset valuation, asset life cycle analysis, and risk management.

Permitting and licensing: The CDR modules manage different types of permitting and licensing processes, including building and development permits, use permits, business licenses, and trade licenses. CDR also includes a Code Enforcement module, because code enforcement follows the same general process as permitting and licensing. In each case there are various forms to be completed, fees to be paid, conditions to be met, and inspections to be conducted.
CDR is structured around a core application record that makes sure all requirements are met and sees the process through to its completion. Associated with the application are supporting records such as reviews, inspections, hearings, conditions, and fees. Application processing is structured around application workflows, which specify which requirements must be completed and in what order.

Billing: Infor Public Sector's billing engine can be used for utility billing and to bill customers for fees associated with CDR applications.
The Meter Management module supplements the Utility Billing module, providing a set of tools for recording and reviewing meter readings. Meter readings can then be used to calculate customers' bills for utility services.
