Tagging data

  1. Select System > Agency Personalization > Definition Manager.
  2. Select Data Tagging from the Set the Mode list.
  3. Click Set Parameters.
Note: A randomly generated session ID is shown at the top of the Set Parameters screen. This ID can be used to find files under DMT Data in the File Explorer.
  4. In the Select a Tag grid, select the tags that you are applying.
The available tags are defined in the CloudSuite Self-Service Portal.
  5. Optionally, in the Purpose of the Tag field, describe the purpose of this tagging.
If a selected tag has already been used to tag configuration data on the source site, then any existing description of the purpose of the tag is filled in automatically. You can then keep the same description or overwrite it.
  6. Select the configurations that you want to tag.
Use the check boxes under Configuration Data to indicate what you want to tag. Click Filter Configurations next to the Configurations check box to select specific configurations.

    See Configuration data.

  7. Under Tagging Options, specify this information:
    Tag Latest Revision Only
Select this check box if you only want to tag the most recent revisions of records for which the system maintains a revision history. This applies to workflow formulas and Content Manager changes.

Indicates only the latest revisions of Content Manager and Workflow Manager items should be tagged.

    Auto-tag New Children
Indicates that any new child configuration added since its parent configuration was last tagged should be automatically included with its parent.
  8. Click Analyze Content.
The Definition Manager compares the two sites and displays the results in a series of tabs on the Select Configurations screen. Each tab shows a list of records that are available for tagging.

The Select Configurations screen has these tabs:

    • Content Manager
    • Agency Defined Tables
    • Code Tables
    • Configuration
    • Employees
    • External Files
    • Filters
    • Permissions
    • Roles
    • Users
    • Workflow and Formulas
  9. On each tab, select the records that you want to tag.
  10. Click Confirm Selections.
  11. Review the details of the records that will tagged.
If you need to make changes you can use the Select Configurations link to return to the previous screen.
  12. Click Tag Data.
  13. Click End Session.
