Integrations of external applications

External applications are applications that are not pre-integrated as part of the CloudSuite deployment. These applications include other Infor applications, third-party applications, or applications that you have developed.

This CloudSuite provides options for external applications to access data, update data, and execute logic in CloudSuite applications. Examples of executing logic are changing a status or inserting an order. Additional configuration is required to integrate external applications by using one of these options:

• Infor ION: Some Infor Lawson products, for example, Infor Lawson applications and Infor Customer Relationship Management, are not integrated at installation and require configuration with Infor ION in order to achieve full integration.

• Infor Ming.le®: Customers who want to run a non-Infor system in the Infor Ming.le framework can do so with additional configuration.

• Web Services: This industry-standard method can be used to integrate Infor Lawson applications with other applications.
