Mobile Supply Chain Management

Infor Mobile Supply Chain Management (MSCM) is a mobile application that extends Infor Financials and Supply Management (FSM) inventory and logistics processes to mobile handheld devices, enabling users to perform critical FSM Supply Management activities directly where work occurs. By combining handheld data collection, barcode scanning, and real-time system connectivity, MSCM helps organizations improve inventory accuracy, increase operational efficiency, and enhance visibility across receiving, delivery, and inventory management processes.

Designed for commercial and industrial environments, MSCM enables organizations to execute transactions at the point of activity rather than relying on paper-based processes or desktop applications. Working seamlessly with Infor FSM, MSCM streamlines warehouse, storeroom, receiving, delivery, and inventory workflows while providing greater control, accountability, and traceability throughout the supply chain.

MSCM contains two primary modules with several sub-modules and processes supported within them:

  • Mobile Par and Cycle Counting (MPC)
  • Receiving and Delivery (RAD)

Mobile Par and Cycle Counting

MPC enables organizations to efficiently manage inventory replenishment and counting activities using handheld barcode-enabled devices. Users can perform handheld par counts, establish and count kanban locations, perform physical inventory and cycle counts, and more. Par and Kanban counting supports replenishment based on established par levels and kanban configurations, initiating transactions within FSM, whether demands on Inventory or vendor replenishment requests, to ensure timely replenishment and restocking of Par and Exchange Carts in FSM.

Users can receive shipments whether on Purchase Orders or without them, perform Dock Logging, perform Inventory Picking and Transactions for FSM Inventory, track inventory movement through the chain of custody, manage deliveries of Inventory and PO Receipts, and capture delivery confirmations through various methods, for example, photo, signature, and badge scan, while maintaining visibility throughout the fulfillment process and chain of custody through a web-based delivery tracking module.
