Employee Attendance Recognition

Overview

Use Employee Attendance Recognition to award a rave to employees when they have met the company defined threshold of perfect attendance.

On a daily basis, the system examines the previous day's timecard record for each employee. It verifies if the employee was present and did not have disqualifying time codes. If both conditions are met, the day is counted towards the consecutive perfect attendance threshold. Once the threshold is reached, the system sends a task notification, along with the rave, to the employee's manager. The manager then has the option to approve or deny the task. Upon approval, the rave is awarded to the employee.

The consecutive day threshold is set for 60 days, for example,

  • An employee has qualified for 32 consecutive days and on the 33rd scheduled day is Tardy. This resets the count for the employee back to zero and the count begins again on the employees next scheduled day.
  • An employee has qualified for 60 consecutive days. A rave notification is sent to the employes manager. This resets the count for the employee back to zero. The count begins again on the employees next scheduled day.

Expected benefits

Awarding an employee a rave for achieving perfect attendance according to the company threshold can provide several benefits:

  • Recognition and motivation: Recognizing an employee's perfect attendance through a rave can boost their motivation and make them feel valued for their commitment and dedication to the company.
  • Positive reinforcement: By rewarding perfect attendance, the company reinforces the behavior they want to encourage, which can lead to increased productivity and better work ethic among employees.
  • Employee retention: When employees feel appreciated and their efforts are acknowledged, they are more likely to remain loyal to the company, reducing turnover rates and associated costs.
