Create a local package with tags

When the tag exists, you can add data from your application.

  1. Log into FSM or HRT as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Application Configuration Setup.
    1. If you use Consolidated Web Apps, select Administration Console > Database > Data Movement > Application Setup Configuration and select the Business Object Tags tab.
    2. If you do not use Consolidated Web Apps, select Administration Console > Other > Application Setup Configuration and select the Business Object Tags tab.
  3. Locate and tag data to include in the package.
    1. Perform searches to locate data to be tagged. When you locate an item, right-click it and select Options > Tag for Export.
    2. You can select multiple items. Repeat steps 3a-b to tag all data to include in the package.
  4. Optionally, you can view the tag on the Business Objects Tags tab. The Tagged Items portion of the screen shows data that has been added to the tag.

  5. When all items have been tagged, you can create the package. Select Configuration Management > Local Packages.
  6. On the Create Package Wizard page, specify this information:
    Package Name
    Specify a name to the package.
    Description
    Optionally, specify a description of the package.
    Source Tenant
    From the list, select the source tenant. This is the tenant that contains the data to be copied to the target.
    Package Type
    Retain the default selection of Local.
  7. Click Next.
  8. For Select Export Options, select Tags.
  9. Select the new package and click Next.
  10. From the list of applications, select TAM. If other applications are selected, deselect them.
  11. From the next page, for Organization, select "default."
    The load process begins. When it completes, the data included in the package displays on screen.
  12. Click Next and Submit.
