Security access requirements for tags

Access to the Infor Configuration Management tagging action

The Infor-delivered role BOTagUserAccess_ST provides access to the tagging action. If this role is not assigned to actor roles, the tagging action is not available in Infor Configuration Management.

All Infor Configuration Management users who tag items, including system administrators, must have this role.

Access for Infor Configuration Management users who work with tags

Users who tag items to be included in a package must have the security access provided by the Infor-delivered security class BOTagUserAccess_ST through one of their security roles. This class enables only the ability to tag items for a package. It does not enable creating or managing tags.

Customers can assign the delivered class to an actor role or assign an equivalent class they have created.

Users who tag items must also have access to the items they tag through their normal security classes/roles.

Access for Infor Configuration Management administrators who create and manage tags

Administrators who create and manage tags must have the security access provided by the Infor-delivered security classes BOTagAdminAccess_ST and BOTagUserAccess_ST through one (or more) of their security roles. Customers can assign the delivered classes to an actor role or assign equivalent classes they have created.

Administrators must also have access to the items to be included in a tag.
